Nakin, a handsome and charming businessman from KTK Corp., is getting married to his first and only girlfriend, Kanokwalee. Their wedding and reception comes off perfectly until their first night together. Kanokwalee realizes that she forgot an oil painting (Man - Woman Walking by the Sea) which she prepared as a gift for her groom. She races in her car to retrieve the painting. As she is driving, the painting falls onto the floor of the car. As she bends over to pick it up, she swerves into a tree to avoid hitting Parntawan, a drunk woman who has been drinking to console herself after being jilted. Nakin rushes to the scene of the accident, but his bride dies in his arms. Parntawan also has injuries and is brought to the hospital. Nakin promises to himself to avenge the death of Kanokwalee. Two years later he meets Prakaiduan, the sister of Parntawan, when she comes to his company for a job interview. Nakin hires her immediately in order to use her to ruin her elder sister’s (Parntawan) life.
