Mario Maurer is a Thai model and actor who is half Thai-German. Starting off a career as a model at the age of 16, Mario later became best known for his lead role in the 2007 film, The Love of Siam and the 2010 sleeper hit, First Love (A little thing called Love). He is also the lead star of Thailand’s highest grossing film of all time, PeeMak, alongside Davika Hoorne. Mario also acts in TV series for Channel 3, Thailand. Some of his popular ones are Plerng Torranong (Arrogantly Me), The Rising Sun I & II, Song Huajai Nee Puer Ter (Two Spirits’ Love), Bunlang Dok Mai (The Blooming Treasure), Thong Ek – The Herbal Master.
